Getting to Cologne
Closest airport: Cologne-Bonn Airport can be reached by plane from many European cities including London, Munich, Milan, Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen and Zurich. These flights are usually about 60 minutes from these cities and once you land, you’re about 20 minutes via taxi to the exhibition center.
Airport + Train: Compare prices from several airports to see which has the best deal from your city of choice. There are also high-speed ICE trains from the airports in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Brussels and Amsterdam that will take you directly to the exhibition center.
How to find deals to European cities: Always compare fares for different airlines because no single carrier always has the best deal. Germanwings and Luftansa are good ones to start with since they offer many itinerary options to/from Cologne and Frankfurt. Also, you’re in luck for traveling this time of year, as fares to Europe are best after summer.
Getting to and from the airport: Whether you arrive by train or by plane, there are taxi options to get you around the city. Stations/stops around the exhibition center: S-Bahn: Köln Messe/Deutz, S6, S11, S12, S13 (Shuttle Bus to Entrance North provided) Tram- or subway: Koelnmesse, Köln-Deutz Line 3 und 4
